Study in UK treats moral injury by emphasizing self compassion. While I believe this is helpful, it doesn’t address the deeper aspects of moral injury. In fact, it places the onus back on the individual, which I believe retraumatizes the person in the long run. There’s no depth to it. It’s like making an alcoholic a functional alcoholic: it gives the outward appearance of success without addressing the core, underlying issues.
